Below is the answer that I have seen on the internet, I am honestly not that of a fan of oranges I prefer kiwi.

There's almost no chance of you getting a Vitamin C overdose eating oranges, as the upper limit for overdosing is 2000 mg - and even then, symptoms might not appear unless that number is doubled. Each orange contains 51 mg of Vit C, so unless you eat 40 oranges per day, you're good to go.

Each orange contains 51mg of vitamin C so If you are eating more than 40 which mean you are intaking 4000+ vitamic C which is not good as in opinion.

Orange is best food as it enriched with Vitamin C that helpful for body. Orange has high potassium and if person has kidney problem, then it can be harmful.

No, but you will gain weight with all the natural sugars if you don't exercise regularly.

Eating a large amount of oranges each day is bad for your teeth. The acid softens tooth enamel.

Under normal circumstances it is next to impossible to harm yourself by getting too much of a vitamin from a whole food. Kidney issues are usually a risk associated with taking too many vitamin C tablets.

Okay the people that are saying you are going to overdose on Oranges are completley off base. I have conducted scientific experiments on oranges in correlation to asorbic acid(vitamin C) Because our bodily balances you can eat as many oranges as you like without making yourself sick. You would have to eat at least one hundred oranges a day for a month to get enough asorbic acid in your system to damage your kidney.

Oranges are also high in vitamin C. A typical 3-inch-diameter orange is going to have about 65 mg of vitamin C (in the form of ascorbic acid). That's over 1/2 the daily RDA. That's well below the current recommendation of 400 mg. made by the Linus Pauling Institute, though.

However, *excessive* vitamin C intake is associated with an increased risk of kidney stones and, potentially, the production of cancer-causing free radicals. (Science, 2001). In large "doses" vitamin C may also interfere with the way your body uses some medications, especially blood thinners.

I would think that depends on your calorie needs. I take it you are a big fan of the orange =). Yes, it is a "healthy" food, but everything in moderation, right? While oranges do contain excellent nutrition + fiber, they also pack a significant amount of sugar. Did you ever see that Anna Nicole Smith reality show? A.N.S. would have her assistant peel oranges for her all day long, it seemed. I'm not sure they were doing her much good, perhaps it was the quantity? I have included the vitamin/mineral content of the orange. Bon Apetit!
